Introducing Our Newest Façades

05-04-2022
The highlands facade

There’s no doubt about it, a home’s façade provides a powerful first impression. But of course, it’s about more than just street appeal – a great façade can have a major impact on a home’s value.

Here at Arden, we believe that a façade should be an expression of your personal taste and style. It should act as an outward expression of your home’s beautiful design.

Today we’re excited to share our newest façades. Proudly developed in conjunction with James Hardie, they capture the very latest in design trends.

Highlands

The highlands facade

The Highlands’ façade has been inspired by the Scandi Barn aesthetic. And while this modern farmhouse aesthetic is certainly trending, its classic design features make it a timeless choice.

We offer a number of Scandi-inspired façades within Arden’s existing range, but we’re thrilled to add this double story beauty to the mix.

As the team at James Hardie explains, the Scandi Barn look “connects well with the Scandinavian style which is characterised by the minimalist philosophy that encourages simplicity. It creates a strong relationship between the design elements and nature. Barn style homes are loved in Australia for their vaulted ceilings, open plan living spaces and bold street presence.”

And excitingly, you’ll soon be able to see this façade in person, within our upcoming display centre at the Kinley Estate in Lilydale.

Harper

Our new Harper façade offers a stunning take on the ‘box modern’ trend.

Described best by the James Hardie team, it’s “driven by the ethos that ‘form follows function’ where design is stripped back to pure form. A single box creates little interest. The arrangement and treatment of distinct box shapes is what makes the look compelling.”

Here, the cladding materials are just as important as the windows, with clean lines defining each box shape.

And importantly for our clients, the clever use of materials looks seriously impressive while keeping an accessible price point.

The Harper facade will be on display at our new display centre in Redstone Estate, Sunbury.

Avery

Avery Facade

Inspired by the ‘Designer Mixed Materials’ trend, this façade plays with shapes, a variety of materials and contrast.

With the Avery façade, part of the team’s inspiration was to come up with a contemporary option that’s available to customers with a variety of budgets but doesn’t cut corners in terms of look, style or materials.

The Avery facade will be on display at our new display centre in Redstone Estate, Sunbury.

Rye

And last, but by no means least, is the Rye façade that’s designed to fit within the ‘Box Modern Coastal’ trend.

This façade will feel right at home in coastal regions of Victoria but offers a more contemporary feel compared to the older traditional-style homes.

Of course, its appeal is not limited to coastal regions. Lovers of minimalist and modern designs will adore this façade no matter where they build.

So, how do you choose the façade that’s right for you?

Well, the good news is, you’re not alone in making this all-important decision. We guide you through every consideration – including your home’s setting, your streetscape and any design guidelines in your area.

As Arden’s Product Development Manager Mitch Onley explained, ‘“We don’t like to restrict our clients by making it so only certain façades can be adapted to certain plans. We pride ourselves on our design flexibility and because of that, almost all of our facades work on every plan.”

If you’d like to see our façades in person, come and visit one of our many display homes. Or, if you’d like to have a chat about the option that’s best for you, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
