The Arden Selections Guide – helping you prepare

At Arden, we take great care in choosing the best suppliers and brands to help us build and style your home, and they provide us with a wealth of options when it comes to ensuring that your new home is a reflection of your personal taste.

Our new Selections Guide is a comprehensive document designed to walk you through all the choices you’ll need to make during the colour selection process. It gives a detailed breakdown of the options available for both our Lumina and Aspire ranges, clearly marking the items that are included as standard, and offering a summary of popular options and upgrades. It’s a great way to weigh up your options before your Design Lab appointment so you can really get the most out of the time you spend with us on the day.

We’ve created a little round up of some of the key sections within this new guide.

Kitchen, bathroom and laundry

These are without doubt the areas in your home with the most selections to consider, and the selections you’ll make here will have an enormous impact on the look and feel of your home’s more communal areas. At this stage we’ll help you choose kitchen appliances, benchtops, tapware, sinks, and cabinetry to ensure your interior not only reflects your personal style, but is also functional. 

These areas really are the hubs of your home, and it’s important to us to help you ensure that they’re not only practical, but beautiful as well – because we believe in helping you find joy in the small moments every day.

Internal living 

Your interior selections are the more subtle selections you’ll make throughout your home to bring all your internal elements together – things like lights, flooring, tiles, carpets, plaster and cornices, internal doors, and your staircase if you’re building a multi-level home.

Our design team will work closely with you to create an impressive, elegant interior that compliments your key selections, so you’ll always have that house-proud feeling when you walk in the door. 

External features

Next you’ll choose from a range of high-quality finishes to the exterior of your home, including roofing material, render, brickwork, and your windows and doors – including the garage. Our team is experienced in helping you to create an exterior that looks impressive and welcoming, but also serves to improve the sustainability and reduce the running costs of your new home. 

The Design Lab experience features hundreds of small decisions that come together to give you the home of your dreams. Familiarising yourself with some of these decisions in advance and noting some of the things you’d like in your new home will mean that not only will the experience feel smoother, but it’ll help you make decisions confidently to achieve the results you’ve been dreaming of.
