Whether you’re planning a knockdown rebuild or the creation of your dream home on a new block of land, visiting a display home, or village, is an important part of the planning process. Display home visits allow you to see and touch the features you’d like to include in your home, and visualise the layout you may have in mind. At Arden, we understand that there are so many things to remember and consider when embarking on your new home building journey. To make things easier, we’ve compiled some key considerations for you to keep in mind on your display home visit.
Visiting display homes can be quite overwhelming when you consider the amount of information you’ll be provided with. To make your visit as stress-free as possible, we advise preparing the following things in the lead up to your visit:
*Develop a list of questions you’d like our New Home Consultant to answer. This ensures you receive clarification for any queries you may have and are well-equipped with the necessary information to embark on your home building journey with full confidence.
*Take note of any important details. Whether with a pen and paper or on your smart phone, ensure you write down any significant information that you will need to remember throughout the planning and building process.
*Bring a tape measure. This trusty tool comes in handy more than you know! Especially when assessing the size and positioning of your home’s features, a tape measure is exceptionally helpful.
*Take photos. If there are particular features that inspire you throughout our display homes, be sure to take a snap of it for future reference.
Building a new home involves some extremely important decisions, both financially and emotionally. Taking your time to assess the options and choosing the ones that best suit the needs of your family is highly advised. Our expert consultants understand the gravity of the decisions you need to make and are committed to helping you every step of the way. We encourage you to contact us, no matter what stage of enquiry you are at.
While touring our display homes, consider the needs of your family and the purpose of specific areas of the home. Do you want an enhanced sense of privacy? If so, perhaps you’d like to situate the master bedroom in a separate zone to the other bedrooms? Do you enjoy entertaining? If so, an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with adjoining alfresco may be perfect. Is a play room or a study – or both – more appropriate for your family’s needs? The most functional, comfortable and adored homes are those that cater for the unique needs of your family, not only for now, but into the future.
As the old saying goes, “if you don’t ask, you don’t get”! We encourage all of our customers to ask any questions they can think of that will help them along their building journey. We pride ourselves on providing 100% transparency when it comes to our standard inclusions, but don’t be shy to double check – we’ll always be upfront and honest.
As part of our commitment to total design flexibility, we’re happy to alter layouts to help you create the home of your dreams. So, if there are aspects of home design you’d like altered during the formation of your home, please let us know. We offer a free, personalised inclusions tour for all of our customers, so you can see where the value lies within all of our homes. Step up to an Arden display home and see the difference.
