The HIA Awards recognise, highlight and reward excellence throughout the housing industry, with the aim of championing the best builders across Australia.
The 2021 Victorian HIA Housing Awards were recently announced and we were proud to be named as winners in two display home categories with the Banyan 29 named as the best Victorian display home between $450,001 and $500,000 while the Toulouse 42 MK2 was named as the best Victorian display home between $500,001 and $600,000. The Banyan has also being recognised as a finalist for the 2021 National Display Home of the Year!
Display homes are judged on four differently weighted criteria, consisting of:
HIA’s judging criteria really reflects everything we want to be known for as a builder and the fact that these qualities were identified in our display homes, which are often the first physical experience our clients have of an Arden home, makes this recognition so gratifying.
There are always some fantastic nominees for these awards but we really did feel confident in the quality of our two winners.
Banyan 29
This is a design that promotes indoor-outdoor living without sacrificing any of the sophistication you’d expect from a modern home. The Banyan’s dual access to the sun court means the kitchen and living area are flooded with natural light, providing a brilliant ambience throughout the year.
The thoughtful zoning of the home means that kids can easily play supervised in the rumpus room off the living area and also escape to three well-proportioned bedrooms that open off the central area for sleeping or homework. Meanwhile, parents also have their own zone with the front of the home set aside for a master suite and a separate study area.
Toulouse 42 MK2
If there’s one thing everyone is looking for in a new home, it’s space; something the Toulouse has in luxurious abundance.
Set across two levels, the Toulouse offers numerous lifestyle options. Downstairs is an entertainment and recreation paradise, incorporating a huge kitchen, living and dining area as well as a hidden butler’s pantry. There’s also a sitting room and sunroom which extends to the rear sun court as well as a home theatre room.
Upstairs, you’ll find a retreat from the world: a palatial master suite with walk-in robes and three large bedrooms, all with ensuites. Plus, in case there weren’t enough entertainment options below, there’s also a separate living room for kids or adults to enjoy.
Both these award-winning homes are on display at Westbrook Estate, Truganina. Click here for location details.
