Founded in 2011, the company was inspired by the desire to provide homes for buyers wanting to step up to a new level in design, inclusions and value. We believe that you should be able to see and sense the difference immediately – both inside and out – with large picture windows, interiors flooded with natural light and a high level of inclusions.

Having both worked in the new home industry for 20 years, co-founder, Christian Kidd, and I saw a need for a builder that offers architectural designed homes, with a high level of inclusions, but with the flexibility of a small, boutique builder. With this in mind, we made a conscious decision to control our growth and Arden Homes was formed with the intention to break the paradigm of the volume builder market, while still providing excellent value for money.
By limiting the number of homes we build each month, we’re able to provide our clients with a high level of personalised service throughout the entire building process, plus offer the option for floor plan flexibility with a choice from many options to build the home you want – this naturally has to be a better option for buyers.

We currently build 12 homes per month in the south east of Melbourne and are growing our business in the north and west. To date we have built in excess of 300 homes and as our business grows, we envisage building approximately 18 homes per month across Melbourne.

Our three distinct ranges, Aspire, Luxe and Lumina cater to various customer requirements, from first home buyers and upgraders to those wanting to downsize – but all our customers have one thing in common, they’re looking for something special, something different to what other major builders have to offer.

That’s why our homes are all architecturally designed, not just for flow, space and style but to significantly alter the ambience and internal dynamics. We believe intelligent layouts, stunning interior design and carefully selected standard inclusions should all work together to create homes that look and feel different.

Our architects and designers specify equipment, finishes and detail to complement our homes. You could call it completing the picture. We choose trusted brands like Dulux, Colorbond and Rinnai. And specify quality fittings and kitchen equipment that complement each home.
